I think many people will be breathing a sigh of relief at the moment, the Christmas and New Year holiday break is ahead of us and we are putting a difficult year behind us. I personally relish the challenges ahead next year, both taking Optics Pages more global in its reach and also working to make the Photonex Exhibition in the UK bigger and better, particularly with the surge in interest in in sustainable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and applications for the environment using optics and photonics.
This month we welcome new readers who we have added to our database, these were visitors to the Photonex exhibition. Of course if you don't wish to receive our newsletter you will find an unsubscribe message and link at the bottom of this message.
I wish you a Merry Christmas with good luck, health and success in the New Year!
Kind regards, Laurence
Laurence Devereux is editor of the Optics Pages and the Exhibition Director of Photonex.
